Mom: "Gentry come here let me see your new shoes."
Gentry: "Look mom I lub (love) my new shoes, I am so tankful (thankful) for them"
Gentry then walked over to me and put his forearm on my shoulder patting my back and said:
"Mom I am so very glad that we are best best friends"
I loved it. He was so sweet and sincere, and even though I don't always want him to think we are best friends (like when he is a teenager!), right now at the age of 3, I am overjoyed to know he thinks we are best friends! Also good to know some things kids do retain, we have been talking about all of the things we have to be thankful for, and I guess new clothes made the list!
