MP in the House!

One of the benefits of homeschooling is if a random question or topic comes up during school, at the end of the day you can look it up and spend time on frivolous questions that don't really matter and only a 7 year old little boy could come up with.  I'm not gonna lie it's kinda my favorite part of the school day cause oddly enough I usually enjoy in whatever topic he throws out there and it usually always end up being interesting.  We have learned about the water walls in the Netherlands and how the whole country is basically sinking, how long puppies eyes are closed and how long dogs have to nurse their babies until they can eat dog food (which also brought up other questions that only child hasn't been exposed to yet...not as enjoyable for me during, and not for him afterwards), types of fish found on the Caribbean side of Panama, different kind of cheeses found in Costa Rica, and who the largest dog in the world is.  All very interesting but random.

When we were looking at the story of "Giant George", (the biggest dog in the world, http://giantgeorge.com/)  Every time they spoke about him being a puppy they they mentioned his paws  oddly huge from the very beginning.  Literally the one thing I have noticed about Molly Paws since the day we got her was how weird her paws looked cause they were so big!!!  They are so big she often can't stop when she's running or playing because when those things get going, they just can't stop.  I knew we were getting a big a dog, but wasn't thinking she would get ginormous!!  She was also the biggest puppy when we went to pick her up, in fact so much bigger we actually thought she had to have been from an earlier liter because she was a full head taller than the other pups! I started looking at growth charts and weight charts for Golden Doodles and she is definitely one of those kids in the 100%!  She is weighing and is about the height of puppies a full month older than her, which at this point is a lot.  I have a feeling we have a Susan/Ginormica (from the movie Monsters vs Aliens) situation on our hands!

We will just have to see if she keeps growing or slows down!  I am actually excited to have a big scary fluffly dog that won't harm a fly, but I think there is some small part of Jeff that thinks i duped him and knew she would be ridiculously big...if that is the case, I swear it was all subconscious Jeff!!  Well big or small we love her and are so glad she's here with us...most of the time :)

MP's HUGE front paws already bigger than a tennis ball!
